Honours
Welcome to the Department of Computing's Honours Page. The Honours program allows you to pursue your studies in computing to a more advanced level and obtain a better qualification or a route to postgraduate reseach degrees. You also benefit by having access to a shared office with other honours student, the computing facilities (the tea-room!) and interaction with other students, staff and visitors. Normally the program is taken over one year full-time, or part-time over two years. The assessment is 40% for the course units, 20% for the seminars component (including intermediate documents and presentations), and 40% for the final project thesis. For more details, see :
