200-Level Computing Liaison CommitteeAbout the 200 Level Liaison CommitteeThe purpose of the committee is to discuss any problems or issues relating to 200-level units and students. These can range from the simple-to-fix (eg the tute room is too small and we have to stand) to the more general issues (eg why can't we learn Java). The student reps and staff meet about 2-3 times a semester to talk about the units for about 30-50 mins. The minutes of the meetings appear on the Web so everyone is aware of what was discussed.
Remember that participation in this committee is something that you should be proud to cite on your CV. Indeed, those who become actively involved in this process will receive a letter from the head of the Computing Department formally thanking them for their contribution and commending their efforts to any prospective employers.
