About This Unit

As organisations and users increasingly rely upon networked applications for assessing information and making critical business decisions, securing distributed applications and networks and their management are becoming extremely significant.  This unit is concerned with advanced security techniques and secure systems design and their applications to systems and networks.  The aim of this unit is to expose the students to advanced security techniques and gain an appreciation of the security design choices and their management in the development of secure systems and networks
